Walking from Musée du Louvre to Palais Royal
Paris mon amour! I am so happy that exactly two months ago I was able to get back into one of my favourite cities in the world for a glorious amount of full ten hours, ok actually 9 hours and 56 minutes. Yep, you read right, I made the jump across the canal for only one museum and two meals. But for me, the most important was to see one of my closests friends, who normally residents in San Francisco, but suddenly made the even bigger jump across the world to start her summer Europe tour.
A day trip to Paris is literally always a good idea. I can't imagine one person who would argue with me on that, and since the best invention of the modern world, the Eurostar train from London to the French Capital, it's easier than ever.
Each time I'm in Paris, I follow a strict rule. Palais Royal is a must. Most of the times, it's even the first thing I visit in Paris, as I usually just hop on the Metro at Gare du Nord and start my day with a Matcha and Croissant from my favourite café in the little passages from the cozy garden. This time I was lucky, as I got to hit the Louvre again. It's basically across the street and so, the Palais Royal, makes the perfect relaxation spot after a busy visit at the Museum.
As Paris usually requires a lot of walking, you need a comfortable look. Tee, Sneakers and a big but not huge handbag are a must and a pair of statement trousers give you the needed portion of style to not feel underdressed in the fashion capital.
