Double Denim Agent in Amsterdam - Shop my Favourite Sustainable Denim
Last week I had the pleasure to see the sun for the first time in ages in probably one of the cutest cities of the world, Amsterdam. We walked around for hours, made it to the Eye, the Filmmuseum, where there's currently a tulip exhibition, walked past my favourite flower shop and I was able to take out my new double denim set.
The day before, in one of Amsterdam's many Vintage stores, I finally found my first pair of Vintage Levi's. I've been looking for ages, trying on jeans in New York, San Francisco and London, but never found one that fitted and that I liked.
And just a few minute later, I also tumbled across a Vintage Denim jacket in the exact same shade, so a unstoppable double denim team was born.
In the last few weeks, Vintage and Charity shops became my go to, even though I haven't found a lot yet (picky shopper here), I will stay determined. Since my whole not shopping for a month, reading up on the sustainable impact of fashion and learning in college about the huge footprint where leaving behind (read the article here), I haven't really set foot into a high street store again. I am not saying this will hold on forever, but I will try my best to shop more responsible in the future, and take you on that journey with me.
Since there are yet no good Vintage Online Stores (are there?), I linked you my favourite sustainable Denim pieces from Reformation and Everlane below, so you can still find your Denim Dream Team.
