Button-Down's in Greece
There is something special about button-downs on a holiday. They are easy, look great in any kind of arrangement and give you just enough sophistication to make the transition from beach to the restaurant. And this year, oh boy, the button-downs have been huge. On tops, on skirt, on shorts, even on dresses. Almost nothing is working without the little round details sewn onto our favourite pieces.
Paired as a total look, the skirt and top makes the perfect day-to-night-vacation look for anywhere, but especially Mykonos. As shell jewellery is one of the other must haves this summer beside buttons, I bought a little souvenir on the streets of the town, sadly it already broke after 4 days, so I had to leave it behind.
The skirt, found in my moms closet which she probably hasn't worn in 15 to 20 years (at least long enough that I didn't remember it) is currently celebrating it's big revival in my closet. I am constantly wearing it in London, due to it's easiness.
All together, Mykonos was a dream holiday, but I am saving all the stories for my Diary Post next week!, stay tuned xx
